Robert Kasero is of Hopi and Laguna heritage. He began his creative career making Hopi katsinas - his favorite being Kwaakatsina, the Eagle katsina. His work is included in Dr. Gregory Schaaf's book "Hopi Katsinas: 1600 Artist Biographies". Now in his 50s, Robert has turned to pottery under the instruction of highly acclaimed potter Paula Estevan. Like Paula, Robert has demonstrated an outstanding ability to create extremely fine progressive designs on pots with perfect shape and fine, thin walls. His reputation for top tier pottery is growing quickly and his potential as a master potter is emerging rapidly.
